Condition : The two figures are intact. The prayer at the bottom of the retablo is almost completely worn away. There are some rusting and staining on the painting.

Ex-voto retablo to Nuestra Señora de San Juan de los Lagos, oil painting on tin. On the left side of the picture is a kneeling supplicant man holding a baby and a candle. On the right is the image of Our Lady of Saint John of the Lakes. Two putti angels hold a banner over her head that says, in Latin, “MATER INMACULATA ORA PRO NOBIS” (Immaculate mother, pray for us). At the bottom of the painting is the text of a prayer, which has almost completely worn away.
